After watching the programme Bondiplus last Monday, I clearly saw another side of our Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi. Needless to say he, as usual, left a lot of questions that Labour leader Alfred Sant made unanswered, and many times changed the subject.
Many of us found out that Dr Gonzi also lost his sense of humour when Dr Sant played a small joke in the pronunciation of his name.
However, we also realised that the Prime Minister has a total different understanding of education.
According to Dr Gonzi, there is no VAT on education. However, when Dr Sant showed evidence that VAT was paid on an atlas, the answer Dr Gonzi gave was rather shocking.
Now, seriously, tell me how is it possible for us students to have a proper, well-knowledgeable education without books?
Keep it up Dr Sant!
