The MFA Public Relations and Publications Committee met the Sports Editors /Coordinators of the media sections over a lunch organised at the MFA Technical Centre Restaurant, Ta’ Qali. MFA officials were also present for this activity.

The event was an opportunity for the new members of the committee to discuss with the media various ways of improving the existing good relationship which the Press has with the MFA.

This was pointed out by the MFA President Dr Joe Mifsud in a short address to the journalists. He stressed that the media in general had an important role to play in the promotion of football.

Dr Mifsud said that the media and the association should work hand in hand to foster more interest in football and augured that the good relations will be kept up in future.

He concluded by saying that such occasions will be held in the months ahead, something which should further strengthen the bond between the association and the media.
