The Malta Transport Authority said that due to trenching works, Tower Road Sliema, from corner with Tigné Street up to corner with Triq Ix-Xatt ta’ Tigné, will be open to one-way traffic in the direction towards Ghar id-Dud as from tomorrow up to Friday 19 October between 8am and 6pm daily. Tower Road will be open to two-way traffic between 6pm and 8am.

On street parking will not be permitted along Triq Sant’ Antnin from corner with Triq Tigné up to corner with Triq ix-Xatt ta’ Qui-Si-Sana between tomorrow and Friday 19 October from 7am to 6pm daily.

To this end, vehicular traffic and public transport from The Strand Sliema in the direction towards St Julian’s will not be affected

Vehicular traffic and public transport from Tower Road in the direction toward Sliema (the Strand) will be diverted to Triq ix Xatt ta’ Qui-Si-Sana, Triq Locker, Triq San Antnin and Triq ix-Xatt ta’ Tigné.
