Reference is made to the letter entitled Traffic in St Julian’s (TMID, 4 October).
While apologising for any inconvenience caused to motorists in the St Julian’s area on Saturday 29 September, the Malta Transport Authority should like to clarify that it had not, in fact, granted any permission for road closure in this traffic sensitive area.
The entity responsible for this road closure, the Environment Landscape Consortium, has been strongly reprimanded by the ADT for carrying out these unauthorised works.
