The registration period for patients entitled to free medicines from the government has for some been extended to 31 October, because of the heavy response to the Pharmacy of Your Choice scheme.

The extension is applicable to patients who withdraw their medicines from Mosta health centre, or the polyclinics at Bugibba, Gharghur, Mellieha, Mgarr, Naxxar, Qawra and St Paul’s Bay.

The registration form, the health division said, may be signed by either the patients’ private doctor or by the doctors at the health centre in Mosta, or at the polyclinics involved.
