A man from Qormi was charged in court yesterday, accused of fraud and fabricating evidence.
Before Magistrate Antonio Vella, Carmel Borg, 53, pleaded not guilty to defrauding Emanuel Ellul of Lm950 in April 2006 and fabricating evidence.
Police Inspector Ian Abdilla prosecuted, while Dr Roberto Montalto assisted the accused and Dr Franco Debono appeared parte civile for the injured party.
