The Malta Transport Authority said that due to emergency works to be carried out by Enemalta Corporation the carriageway in Triq T’Alla w Ommu in the direction towards Salini from junction with Triq il-Fortizza tal-Mosta up to roundabout at lower T’Alla w Ommu, junction with Triq is-Salina will be closed to vehicular traffic from Tuesday up to Wednesday 24 October from 8.30am to 6pm daily.

To this end the following traffic management scheme is being implemented for the duration of the works: Vehicular traffic from Triq M. Murray [Birguma Bypass] towards Burmarrad will be diverted to Triq Il-Fortizza Tal-Mosta, Targa Gap and Burmarrad.

Triq Ghar Dalam, Birzebbuga will be open to two-way traffic late afternoon on today until the early hours of Monday morning.

As from Monday at 7am, until further notice, Triq Ghar Dalam, Birzebbugia from corner with Triq iz-Zejtun up to corner with Triq F.M. Ferretti will once again be closed to public transport and vehicular traffic in the direction towards Birzebbuga.

To this end, public transport and vehicular traffic to Birzebbuga will be diverted through Marsaxlokk.
