In Prime position

Michele Peresso Group of Companies has launched PrimeMall®, a shopping centre with between 30 to 40 shops, which will open next door to Villa Rundle in Victoria in autumn 2008.

PrimeMall® is situated in the heart of the city centre.

It is a pivotal centre point to Victoria’s main square, surrounded by landmarks and public services, including the two main city band clubs.

Parking is not a problem, a 45-car park is available on the lower floors. Besides, there will also be a rear entrance with two elevators from the bus terminus and large open parking facilities at the back of the building.

The common areas including passageways will be spacious and wide. In fact 25 per cent of the total floor area has been planned for passageways for customers to browse around in comfort. For better free movement to both floors, Level 0 and Level –1, there will be two escalators and four elevators.

A Well Being Centre, with a large indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi, covering 90m2 will also be available. This centre will include two saunas, health and beauty services and treatments.

At the main entrance, all patrons entering the PrimeMall® can entertain themselves at the Connection Cafeteria and Restaurant run by Il-Kartell of Marsalforn.

How will Gozo benefit from this investment?

Many Gozitans are involved in this building, from excavation work to the last finished contract work; at least 80 per cent of the work is being done by Gozitan workers.

Between 50 and 70 workers will be employed in this project and in most probability all these will be Gozitans.

A state-of-the-art Shopping Centre will now be available, a forward leap for Gozo.
