The string orchestra Backreis Bergkamen from Dusseldorf, Germany, will give a concert at the culture performance hall of the Sliema Band Club, Palazzo Sliema, 34 St Trophimus Street, on Sunday, 28 October at 10.30am, as part of the second edition of the Sliema International Arts Festival.

The orchestra is formed of around 70 musicians with a varied repertoire. It will perform excerpts from works by Tcshaikowsy; Wagner; Gustav Holst; Hector Berlioz; Beethoven; Modest Mussorgsky; Howard Shore; Giuseppe Verdi and Georges Bizet.
