This sign is placed opposite Vibes, prior to the entry into the narrow road leading to Ibrag, High Ridge, Swieqi, Madliena, St Andrews, Bahar ic Caghaq, etc…

The sign is somewhat contradictory and quite confusing.

• I believe the red circle with the white horizontal line across it means “No entry” at all.

• “Except for access only” means that one can only enter to get through, or to gain admission to.

• “ No access to Gharghur, Swieqi and Madliena” means, that one cannot go through to these three mentioned localities.

What about the other villages, like Ibrag, St Andrews, etc…are drivers allowed to go through this road to get to these localities?

I would like to suggest to the wise department who decided to confuse us drivers when deciding what we are to do. Some drivers drive through, while others keep on going to San Gwann.

If a head on accident occurs on this narrow road … who will be held responsible for the damage?

I believe this sign fully qualifies for “only in malta.com”.
