Malta Independent Wednesday, 17 October 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

A 25-year-old man was yesterday conditionally discharged for three years after pleading guilty to stealing several mobile phones and digital cameras.

Before magistrate Doreen Clarke, Wayne Condorato, from Msida, pleaded guilty to stealing five mobile phones and two digital cameras at a value of less than Lm1,000 from Paceville on 11 October.

Magistrate Clarke, after taking into account the fact that he was a first time offender, told Condorato to reform himself and conditionally discharged him for three years.

Police Inspector Carlo Ellul prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused.
