Educational Activity on Caravaggio

Malta Independent Thursday, 18 October 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 15 years ago

After last Sunday’s successful educational workshops which focused on the theme of St Francis and the natural environment in the works of Caravaggio, Heritage Malta is holding another educational activity on Caravaggio as part of the Caravaggio: L’Immagine del Divino exhibition at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta. The activity will be held on Sunday between 2am and 4pm.

Participants who must be between eight and 12-years-old are to be accompanied by an adult. Parents can avail themselves of the family ticket which allow entry to two adults and two children to the exhibition at a cost of Lm9 (EUR20.96) thus saving more than thirty percent on the admission fee. This will also enable visitors to visit the National Museum of Fine Arts where an exhibition of Caravaggisti paintings is also being held. Both the National Museum of Archaeology and the National Museum of Fine Arts are open from Monday to Sunday from 9am to 7.30 pm.
