A member of the Public Broadcasting Services board, Michael Seychell, sued the Opposition leader after claiming publicly that a PBS board member participated in the decision making process affecting a company belonging to his daughter.
Mr Seychell claimed that Dr Sant’s comments, which were carried in the media, were libellous and aimed at damaging his reputation.
