Free Broadband for business

Malta Independent Sunday, 21 October 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Continuing to drive down prices of communications, SKY Telecom launched its branded Internet service for Business last week. The big surprise from SKY is that they are offering it free to their business telephony customers.

One year after launch and still in steep growth mode, according to managing director John Dougall, SKY has made its presence well felt on the local market. “Looking back over the past 12 months, we have already witnessed a significant development in the market. SKY is the alternative telephone company operating on the fixed line network. It is companies like us who traditionally drive down market prices and that is exactly what has happened in Malta over the past year,” stated Mr. Dougall.

SKY’s new broadband service has been launched for the business market. Part of a telephone package bundle, SKY is offering Unlimited 4096/512 Kbps DSL to customers who switch their lines to any of SKY’s business telephony price plans.

“We aim to be innovative in all our offerings. Our most recent telephone offer for business, SKY NO LIMITS, gives unmetered calls to fixed networks for 1c, regardless of call duration. This is a real winner when compared to competing offers of 1c per minute. Take all this, throw in free broadband and you have yourself a business communications package that is simply unbeatable.” Some terms and conditions apply.
