Strike Notice (Italy)

In the eventuality of an Air Traffic Controllers’ strike, which has been declared in Italy for tomorrow, Air Malta’s scheduled flights to Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino on this day will be affected.

Passengers booked to travel on KM 628 (Malta-Milan) will now depart 30 minutes earlier from Malta International Airport at 08:55hrs; passengers travelling on KM 629 (Milan-Malta) will leave Milan Malpensa Airport at 13:55hrs.

Air Malta’s scheduled flight to Rome (KM 616/7) on this day will be cancelled. Passengers originally booked to travel on KM 616 (Malta-Rome) will now travel on KM 612 (Malta-Rome) departing Malta International Airport at 05:00hrs. Passengers who were originally scheduled to travel on KM 617 (Rome-Malta) will now travel on KM 613 (Rome-Malta) departing Rome at 1130hrs.

All flights will operate as per normal schedule if strike action is withdrawn.

Due to this strike, clients are advised to contact flight enquiries at Malta International Airport on 5004 3333 for further information and to confirm flight arrival / departure times.
