The Cana Movement, in collaboration with Caritas and the Diocesan Commission for the Family, are organising a conference on healthy marriages, at St. Monica School, Gzira on Saturday, from 9am to 1pm.
The conference will include the presentation of a study conducted by DISCERN, the archdiocese’s institute for research on the signs of the times, and on what the State, the Church, and civil society are doing to help promote healthy marriages.
Samantha Callan, from the UK, will share her views on what helps and what does not help a healthy marriage. Dr Callan is a member of the Committee for Marriage and Family Life, of the Bishops’ Conference for England and Wales. She is considered an authority on family-friendly
policies.
The public is invited to attend.
