With reference to the Odds and Ends article published in your newspaper (TMID, 22 October), referring to the euro countdown clock at Marsa which is displaying the incorrect numbers of days left for the introduction of the euro, the National Euro Changeover Committee would like to clarify that the countdown clock has been damaged by the heavy rain and repair works are currently underway. Any inconvenience is regretted.
