Zen Publishing will be publishing a weekly magazine that will cater primarily for the Maltese sport loving public, and will also include specific coverage of major international sports events.

The publication, which will be entirely in Maltese, will cover various local sports events and activities, with regular features, results and statistics on all of Malta’s most popular sports, including football (men’s, women’s, youths and futsal), horse racing, basketball, rugby, waterpolo, shooting, boxing, motor racing, hockey, and athletics. In addition, regular features will be run on other local sports including bowling, netball, tennis, handball, volleyball, weightlifting, and various other indoor and outdoor sports.

The regular features will be supplemented with full coverage of all major sporting events as they happen locally or abroad, maintaining interest and catering for a more flexible reader base, for whom this magazine has been specifically designed and created.

Weekly content will also feature special topics, interviews and articles of high quality reportage from Malta’s leading contributors in this field, coupled with exclusive photographs and state of the art graphic design.

The publishers’ objective is to provide a reporting service of high value to the reader and at the same time to produce a publication that is colourful, thorough, accurate and inspiring – elements that we believe will captivate our readers and maintain a steady customer base.

The first SPORTIV issue will be out on sale tomorrow from all newspaper agents.
