Whether she’s playing the Old Maid or the Grunting Wife, Tanya Scicluna’s (pictures) performance is top in Bla Kondixin 2007. The festival of satire – covering the full monty of Maltese culture, from politics to parish saint rivalry and domestic differences – is on with a bang.

Other participating actors include Hector Bruno as Stiefnu ta’ l-Ahmar, Paul Portelli as Satana and il-Lajburist, Mario ‘Snitz’ Spiteri as ic-Ciklist and Paul Borg Bonaci as Renato.

Classified 16 and over, Bla Kondixin is taking place in Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between November 2-4. Performances start at 7.30pm.
