The Malta Model Aircraft Flying Association will be holding its fifteenth annual event Wings Over Ta’ Qali today and tomorrow. The event will be held at the association’s official flying site in Ta’ Qali.
The Malta Model Aircraft Flying Association was founded more than 50 years ago. Also participating in the event are the Italian Military Mission with their search and rescue helicopter, the Malta Aviation Museum Foundation and the Hal Far Model Flying Association.
The event will mainly consist of static and flying displays of precision built remote controlled model aircraft. A simulation of an air attack on a control tower will be held on both days. Again on both days a model aircraft will be loaded with sweets to be dropped off from the air for the children present, presents will be given to the lucky ones catching the special sweets.
The opening times are today from 2pm to 6pm and tomorrow from 10am to 5pm.
