Vittoriosa was the chosen location for this year’s activities to mark World Food Day yesterday, the theme of which was “The right for food”. Activities included Pontifical Mass at the Vittoriosa collegiate church, celebrated by Gozo Bishop Mgr Mario Grech. Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, Environment and Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino, and the parliamentary secretary in the same ministry, Francis Agius, visited the agricultural exhibition. Other activities included a horse parade and the blessing of animals.
