Competitiveness Minister Censu Galea has asked the Permanent Commission Against Corruption, and the Commissioner of Police, to investigate a speech made by Labour MP Joe Mizzi in parliament on Friday.
The Department of Information said Mr. Mizzi made various allegations about irregularities at the Maritime AuthorityCompetitiveness and Communications Minister Censu Galea has again written to the Permanent Commission Against Corruption to investigate claims made by Labour MP Joe Mizzi in Parliament last Wednesday.
Making use of parliamentary privilege, Mr Mizzi made allegations of irregularities at the Malta Maritime Authority, a Department of Information statement said. Mr Galea has in the past written to the commission several times to request investigations into claims made by Mr Mizzi.
