A woman from St Paul’s Bay was yesterday jailed for two years suspended for three, after she was found guilty of forgery and fraud.
The court, presided over by magistrate Lawrence Quintano, found 29-year-old Alexia Cross guilty of defrauding her grandparents, Anthony and Ludgarda Mangion of over Lm1,000 and forging documents in July and before.
Police Inspector Maurice Curmi prosecuted and Dr Roberto Montalto appeared for Ms Cross.
