Heritage Malta said that the Maritime Museum in Vittoriosa will be closed until tomorrow because of urgent works on the building. It will be open again on Saturday. The works are part of the ongoing programme of refurbishing works being carried out by Heritage Malta to upgrade its museums and sites. Heritage Malta is currently also carrying out a refurbishing works at the War Museum in Valletta. Heritage Malta is working throughout the year to improve visitor satisfaction at its sites and museums.

Heritage Malta would like to apologise for any inconvenience and would like to remind the public that the Inquisitor's Palace in Vittoriosa as well as other museums in Malta and Gozo are open to the public.
