Antoine Cuschieri and Darren Schembri have won the second series of ranking tournaments organised by the Malta Pool Association.

Cuschieri beat Christ Mills of Domus Kids 8-3 in the final of the event, in which 120 players took part.

Following this win, Cuschieri who plays for Espadon Bar, is occupying first place jointly with Clayton Attard. The former beat Attard 7-6 in the semi-final, while Mills had beaten Kevin Mercieca of Domus Kids, with a similar score.

Darren Schembri won the tournament for youths under 18. The Top Gun Bar player beat Lothar Mallia of Taste Good Bar 6-3 in the final.

The third series of tournaments will be held at the Pandora Band Club of Zejtun on Monday 19 November.
