Following the launch of the search for a new face for its 2008 promotions, Vodafone Malta Limited has taken this campaign to another stage. Around 1,000 Vodafone customers participated in the competition and 140 finalists have been selected. Vodafone customers can now vote for their favourite pictures. Out of these 140 finalists, 20 will be chosen to participate in the final phase, which will see a winner awarded as Vodafone’s New Face for 2008.

Vodafone customers can vote until 15 December by logging on to www.vodafone.com.mt. Each customer can vote up to a maximum of 10 times by sending an MMS to [email protected] from a Vodafone live! enabled handset. Each MMS costs 20c (EUR0.46c). The customers’ votes will represent 50 per cent of the result while a judging panel selected by Vodafone will decide the other 50 per cent.

The winner of this competition will take part in a number of Vodafone promotions throughout 2008 and will also receive Lm500 (EUR1,164) in cash, a Vodafone 3G handset and other Vodafone merchandise.
