Once again I beg to differ with Daphne Caruana Galizia when she accuses the Cana Movement of being naïve, as well as being associated with a “fledgling political party which preaches negative messages” about various topical issues (TMIS, 4 November).
She can assume whatever she wishes, but I can confirm that to the best of my knowledge – as I was present at the national conference “For a Healthier Marriage” – Dr Charles Attard was not part of the official programme.
He was present, along with quite a few other people who attended; however, he simply addressed the floor when the general public was invited to do so.
This is what I meant in my letter of 4 November when I suggested that Ms Caruana Galizia would do better to research her articles more diligently.
Unfortunately, once again, her readers have not been given an exact picture of events, leading to a misinterpretation of the situation.
