A police reports said that the first drug find was made on Saturday morning, when 1.5 kilogrammes of cocaine were found in Qormi after investigations by the police anti-drug unit.

The drug was found in the couple's residence in Qormi, from where some Lm33,000 were lifted together with gold items and other assets. The couple, 29 and 26 years old, were arrested.

The second drug find was made by members of the police mobile squad on Satursay afternoon.

A 20-year-old from Marsa was found with 11 pieces of cannabis at Albert Town, Marsa.
