Malta’s Alex Borg and Simon Zammit registered their second win in as many matches yesterday at the IBSF world amateur championships in Thailand.

Borg beat Andrew Pagett of Wales 4-3 in a Group D match while Simon Zammit won his Group C match against Maarku Hamalainen of Finland 4-2.

On the opening day, Borg had crushed George Lai of the US 4-0 while Zammit also obtained a similar win against C. I. Chircu of Romania.
