Chris And Moira with new release and record deal

Popular husband and wife singing duo Chris and Moira maybe have been keeping a low profile, but their fans will be pleased to know that they have been busy at work in the studio. They have just released a new single called Magical which will be performed for the first time at the Bay Awards on 12 December. Music, lyrics and vocals are by Moira Stafrace and Chris Scicluna, with Billy B. on bass, Roberto Calleja on drums and Crhis on guitars.

A publishing deal has also been signed with KDM Productions UK and the duo is now selling their music worldwide on iTunes. The Magical video will be officially out on iTunes soon.

In 2004/5, Chris & Moira released their last album Uncivilized, with ten original tracks, recorded and mixed locally at Indigo Studios and mastered at Abbey Road Studios U.K.(popular singles were All I want, Moonman and Beggin you)

Night to day was released in 1997, recorded locally at Temple Studios and mastered at Tape to Tape UK. A video of the title track was filmed locally. Following was a three month tour in U.K. and Sweden. (with hits like Night to Day, Maybe, Get up and Miles away.)

In summer 2002 they released four hit singles, Dear Friend, Be song, Transient and Misbehaving…Other tracks on various compilations were also released such as Infection, Upsidedown, etc.

The More than Love album was released in 1994, recorded and mixed at L’Isola Milan & Temple Studios. It won the Malta Song Fest, and represented Malta in Ireland Eurovision placing fifth. (Also from this album was the hit Callin).

The duo have been working on many original projects, one of which Heaven in aid of the Eden Foundation and later sung to the late Pope John Paul II during a private audience in Rome.

They have represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest three times, twice in Ireland and Israel.
