From Dr J. Herrera

I write for and on behalf of the major and local council of Kirkop and I refer to the letter of PN local councils coordinator Paul Aquilina published on 4 November.

In this letter it was stated that my clients abusively and without respect for third party properties started construction work on land to which they have no title.

My clients feel aggrieved with the contents of the article, since the allegations contained therein are totally unfounded and malicious. I wish to inform you that by a letter dated 26 May 1998, sent by the Director Estate Management, Lands Department, my clients were granted an extension of land so that they could continue to extend their offices. Thus all work being carried out is in conformity with the law and I therefore request you to publish my client’s rebuttal.
