Simon Zammit moves closer to qualifying to the finals winning his last game against Omar Mounchld 4-0. He now faces a crucial match against Mohammed Saleh who is in fourth place while Simon is fifth form the 12 players in his group. Only the top four from each of the eight groups qualify.

In the other group where Malta is represented by Alex Borg there are more games still to play and Alex is in sixth place from 13 players. Every result from now on could be crucial and while qualifying looks difficult it is not impossible given the good results obtained till now from our players.
