A 35-year-old yesterday pleaded guilty to assaulting a warden.
Joseph Abela, from Xghajra, also pleaded guilty to threatening the warden, breaching the peace and using obscene langauge in public.
Before magistrate Anthony Vella, Abela apologised to the warden in court.
He was conditionally discharged for a year.
Police Inspector Alexander Grech led the prosecution while Dr Stephen Tonna Lowell appeared for the accused.
