A 23-year-old Nigerian woman was taken to hospital after she was found suffering from a thigh wound caused by a pointed instrument during an argument with a 48-year-old Maltese man on Sunday.
In a statement, the police said that the woman was found at around 8.15pm in Triq il-Port Ruman in Qawra. She was rushed to hospital and treated for her injuries and was later released.
Police investigations are still under way.
