This match had to be abandoned in the 62nd minute due to an electricity failure at the Centenary Stadium caused by a heavy thunderstorm.
Balzan assumed the initiative during the first-half and after 11 minutes Aaron Agius hit just wide following a personal effort.
Sirens were close through Ian Borg and in the 33rd minute Alan Xuereb's attempt was deflected to a corner-kick.
Two minutes later Balzan had an Ives Bilocca goal which was an annulled for an offside position, a decision which was contested by the Youths. Just before the end of the first period the crossbar denied Sirens off a shot by Ian Borg.
A few seconds into the second half Balzan scored through a Kurt Coleiro header but in the 57th minute the electricity supply was interrupted and the match had to be suspended and eventually abandoned.

B'Bugia SP-San Gwann 2-2
San Gwann showed the better football during the first half with the B'Bugia goalkeeper Matthew Xerxen bringing off fine saves to deny Malcolm Tirchett and twice Kurt Micallef.
On 26 minutes B'Bugia broke the deadlock with Celeste hitting the post and the ball was picked up by Edward Azzopardi whose cross was finished off by Ronnie Celeste.
San Gwann were back on level terms in the 31st minute as Kurt Micallef's corner-kick was headed in by Clayton Giordemaina.
Barely four minutes later San Gwann gained the lead as Lee Cumbo's corner-kick was deflected by B'Bugia's defender Dennis Baldacchino for an unfortunate own-goal.
B'Bugia came strongly back after the break and they made it two-all in the 52nd minute with Celeste crossing from the right and substitute Johan Zammit beat Franklin Axisa with a low shot.
Both teams then created enough chances to win the match. B'Bugia were twice denied by Axisa off efforts by Leslie Burke and Celeste with the Saints going close through a Ryan Zammit point-blank attempt which was saved by Xerxen.
