A 49-year-old man from Zurrieq was mugged early yesterday morning in Kordin Street, Paola. The robbers managed to get away with a sum of money which does not exceed Lm2,000.

From preliminary investigations the police carried out, it was established that the man was in his car, a Toyota, when two hooded men approached him. One of them broke the windscreen of his car and took the money from the glove compartment.

Police investigations are still underway and some people are helping in the investigations.
