A Swieqi man was yesterday jailed for 18 months after he pleaded guilty to fraud.
Richard Flattley, 56, before Magistrate Saviour Demicoli, pleaded guilty to forging documents in order to commit fraud at a number of shops in Hamrun, Naxxar, Mosta and Birkirkara during October and November 2005.
Police Inspector Joseph Mercieca led the prosecution.
