On Monday’s discussion programme Bondi+, Azzjoni Nazzjonali party officials, Dr Josie Muscat, Mr Anglu Xuereb and Mr Philip Beattie discussed various matters pertaining to this party.

Unfortunately, as often happens in politics, these officials tended to exaggerate on many of the matters discussed in this programme. A particular comment which struck me was the fact that the AN would be willing to form a coalition with any of the main parties if it had to win enough seats in parliament to pose a threat to the single-party system which Malta currently holds.

Let us say that this was a rather pompous and out-of-place comment which could have been easily avoided by these officials.
