Labour MP Leo Brincat, the Opposition’s spokesperson for foreign affairs and IT publicly expressed his and his party’s good wishes to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Michael Frendo, who is a candidate in the elections for the post of Commonwealth Secretary General, which will be decided this Saturday.

“Dr Frendo has the necessary credentials to fill this prestigious post skilfully. If he is elected not only would it be an honour for Malta, but it would strengthen our country’s profile within the Commonwealth and the international community,” said Mr Brincat.
