Sundays With Heritage Malta

Heritage Malta is holding a day of activities in Valletta on Sunday to encourage the public to visit museums and the Caravaggio exhibition.

Four museums, the National Museum of Archaeology, the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Palace Armoury and the State Rooms will be open to the public for the price of EUR 5.82/Lm 2.50 for adults and EUR 2.33/Lm1 for persons under 16. Included in the price is entry to the Caravaggio exhibition at the National Museum of Archaeology.

Heritage Malta is also organising family oriented historical re-enactments at the Palace Armoury. The re-enactments focus on the defence strategy of the island as masterminded by the Knights. At the National Museum of Archaeology educational workshops will be held throughout the day.

All events will be held in Maltese. They will be held at 10 and 11 in the morning, and at 2.30 and 3.30pm. There will also be special activities for children at the Caravaggio exhibition.

The National Museum of Archaeology and the National Museum of Fine Arts will remain open till 7.30pm, while the Palace Armoury and the Palace State Rooms will be open between 9am and 5pm.
