APS Bank has recently renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Malta Handball Association (MHA) for a further two years. The agreement will feature APS Bank, as the main sponsor for all handball national leagues.

During the official presentation of the sponsorship, Mr Alfred Triganza, Senior Manager, Marketing Unit at APS Bank and Mr Louis Borg, President of the MHA expressed their satisfaction at the fact that such an agreement has been renewed.

As a direct result of APS Bank’s financial support during the last four years, the MHA is now in a position not only to be able to help in the smooth running of the national leagues but it will also be aiding the Association in its development projects for the coming years. Such projects aim at increasing the number of youth practicing the game of handball and improving the quality of handball players, coaches and referees.

Mr Triganza said that this agreement falls perfectly in line with various initiatives taken by the Bank over the last few years which primarily aim to enable a greater professional approach with regards to Malta’s youth’s active participation in sports.

On the other hand, Mr Borg, while thanking APS Bank for their support, said that handball in Malta is making steady progress and that the future looks bright with many projects underway. He augured that the deal will turn out to be beneficial to both parties.

Also present for the presentation were Mr Andrew Attard, Marketing Officer at APS Bank and Mr Clyde Borg Conti, Vice President of the MHA.
