APS Bank Launches its ‘365 online’ internet banking service

APS Bank has officially launched its ‘365 Online’ internet banking service. Through this newly-launched facility, customers can carry out their day-to-day banking activities from home, office or elsewhere.

“The launch of internet banking services has opened a new chapter for APS Bank’s personal and business financial services. This affirms APS Bank’s commitment to participate and adopt this evolving technology, aligning itself to international best practices, thereby fulfilling its increased customer requirements in this demanding and challenging eBanking sector”, stated Charles J. Fiorentino, Head – IT services division at APS Bank.

Mr Fiorentino further stated that “the launch of APS Bank’s ‘365 Online’ is yet another initiative we have taken to make banking easy and convenient for our customers. We encourage our customers to avail themselves of the service, which is secure, convenient and very easy to access.”

Through APS Bank’s ‘365 Online’, customers can carry out all transactions and functions normally associated with general internet banking services comforted by a highly sophisticated and secure system.

APS Bank is offering subscribers to its ‘365 Online’ two different authentication methods to choose from, namely the ‘mobile’ authentication method which uses a password and a mobile security code sent by SMS when logging into the system and the ‘token’ authentication method, which uses a security code generated by the ‘token’ when logging into the system. The ‘mobile’ authentication method is a first in Malta for internet banking authentication.

One of the initiatives taken by APS to celebrate this major milestone in its hundred year old history, is the opportunity being given to all those, who in subscribing to APS Bank’s ‘365 Online’ until the end of the year, will become eligible to participate in a grand lottery with the chance of winning great prizes including notebooks, Flyaway Tours, Ipods, PDAs and Onvol internet connections.

Furthermore, in line with this launch, APS Bank has also revamped its website which is now more user-friendly and includes various new initiatives taken by APS. The appearance and layout of the pages have been updated to enable an enhanced corporate image reflecting the constant modernization process that APS has been experiencing over the last few years.
