As from 1 December, Euro Starter Kits for retailers and small businesses will be available for sale from tellers in HSBC's retail branches. These starter kits will enable both the retailers and the public to have small change in hand in good time for the changeover.

Retailer's Starter Packs contain EUR131 in euro coins, at a face value of Lm56.24. To supplement the retail starter pack, retailers may also purchase EUR5 bank notes, which will be exchanged at the irrevocable Fixed Conversion Rate of 0.4293.

Mini kits for the public will be available for sale from tellers in HSBC's retail branches, as from 10 December. Public Starter Packs contain EUR11.65 in euro coins, at a value of Lm5.
