The Environment Planning Directorate of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority will soon be moving to new premises. Hexagon House in Marsa, previously tenanted by HSBC and Lohombus, has been acquired by the authority following discussions and authorisation by the Ministry of Finance.
At present, space at Mepa’s offices in St Francis Ravelin is extremely restricted with very little room for employees or clients, Mepa said.
Ever since the merger between the former Planning Authority and the Environment Protection Directorate, space limitations have been greatly felt. Meetings with clients and services in general will be improved with more adequate facilities for the public.
It is envisaged that the move to the new premises will take place in March.
