Baron Group have donated 10 original paintings by the late Jenny Chuter, to the Gozo SPCA. These paintings were used for fundraising in a Silent Auction which was held on 17 November. Brian Meilak, head of administration, is pictured handing over one of the pictures to Mark Thorogood of Gozo SPCA.

Jenny was a well known artist who painted local Gozitan scenes, mostly in watercolour and chalks. Art and animals were the two loves of her life, and she worked for many years with the Gozo SPCA. Jennifer passed away in July 2004 and is buried in the place that became her spiritual home, Gozo.

Jonathan Chuter is delighted that Baron Group have made this generous gesture from the his mother’s estate.
