A man from Mgarr was yesterday fined Lm50 for insulting a man.
Joseph Bugeja, 40, was cleared of threatening a Swieqi resident on 2 July, being in possession of an unlicensed firearm. He was, however, found guilty of insulting the person and was fined Lm50.
Police inspector Ramon Mercieca prosecuted while Dr Veronique Dalli and Dr Jose Herrera appeared for the accused.
