A man was yesterday charged with stealing a mobile phone and loitering with intent of prostitution.
Richard Spiteri, 35, pleaded not guilty to stealing a mobile phone in Albert Town, Marsa, on 18 August 2006 at 1.30am. He also pleaded not guilty to loitering with intent of prostitution on the same date and offending public morals.
He was also charged with relapsing in view of previous convictions.
Dr Jose Herrera and Dr Veronique Dalli appeared for the accused.
