The Institute of Tourism Studies and the Malta Qualifications Council have signed a qualifications protocol, affirming all the qualifications levels offered by the institute in the context of the national qualifications framework launched in June, by education minister Louis Galea.

The framework, Dr Galea said, would improve the quality of all institutional qualifications in teaching and training, improve transparency in the drawing up of educational and vocational programmes, and start forming a system under which a person could go from one level to another in all the subjects.
