The hall of the girls’ secondary school, St Benedict College, in Tarxien has been modernised in a Lm26,000 (EUR60,563) work plan which involved replacing the entire ceiling and electricity system, together with the seating accommodation.
The work was carried out in a programme by the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools, which has seen other halls modernised as well. New school halls are also being provided at Siggiewi, Mqabba, Safi, Marsaxlokk and elsewhere.
