The Admiral’s Landing is the first restaurant to open at the Grand Hotel Excelsior commanding a prime waterfront location. Flooded with natural daylight from vast picture windows, it offers a combination of superb views over Marsamxett Harbour and five-star cuisine with flavours from around the world including sushi, cured meats, rib-eye steak and a rabbit confit, as well as succulent “escabeche” of sea bream.
The restaurant, which is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, is the ideal location for a business lunch or dinner as well as that special occasion you would want to celebrate.
Every Sunday Lunch, the restaurant take’s on a familiar ambiance and offers a sumptuous buffet. Live piano music drifts down from the lobby to accompany your meal and Excelsior’s award winning chefs promise to take guests on a gastronomic tour of flavours from around the world. Different theme buffets will be offered every Sunday.
These themes will range from Maltese and Mediterranean to Asian and Far East specialities for the whole family to enjoy. Ample free parking space is available and on Sunday’s, the children are well taken care of at our Children’s Corner.
For the festive season, the Restaurant’s team are working on a variety of culinary events to choose from. Admiral’s Landing will be open for Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Day Lunch as well as New Year’s Eve Dinner and New Year’s Day Lunch and bookings are being taken already. There will be live entertainment on each of these occasions.
